August 2010  We have moved!

As from Monday 2nd August our new address is: 1 Madeley Road, North Moons Moat, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9NB, UK. Our telephone and fax numbers are unchanged.

Our new premises represent an exciting new chapter in the Sterimedix story and we look forward welcoming you there at some time in the future

April 2010  Sterimedix announces major expansion plans

Following several years of sustained growth, we are delighted to announce that Sterimedix has purchased a new factory and office building

Still based in Redditch, the new facility will provide the Company with a significantly increased production, distribution & R&D capacity allowing us to manage the continued expansion we expect in years to come.

As part of this exciting project we will be installing new state of the art clean rooms and automated production equipment, ensuring and improving our levels of service to our customers worldwide. We expect to have completed the move to the new premises by the end of August 2010.

Sterimedix has expanded its range of lachrymal products by adding two new DCR sets (Bodkins).

Recognising the needs of the user, Sterimedix DCR sets are registered so that they may be implanted.

Packed in a rigid blister in boxes of 5 units, the Sterimedix DCR sets offer the latest manufacturing technology and design. Improved attachment of the silicone rod to the malleable probes offers the practitioner the best overall device for DCR surgery.

Sterimedix has introduced a 23g version of the Self Retaining Anterior Chamber Maintainer,

Sterimedix has introduced a 23g version of the Self Retaining Anterior Chamber Maintainer, originally developed by Dr Andrew Lewicky and later championed by the late Prof. Michael Blumenthal in his Mini-Nuc technique.

The self retaining characteristics make it the ideal irrigating cannula for use with small incision phaco surgery when the need for bimanual anterior vitrectomy arises. The 23g cannula removes the need to enlarge the side-port incision nor hold and manipulate an irrigation device during the procedure.
